Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains when a registration fee paid for the Lyallpur International Model United Nations (LIMUN) is eligible for a refund, and how to request one. It applies alongside our Terms & Conditions.

2. Registration Fees Covered by This Policy

This policy applies to paid Delegate and Delegation registration fees. Campus Ambassador and Committee Director/ACD submissions are free applications, not paid registrations, so no fee or refund applies to them.

3. Cancellation by You (Delegate/Delegation)

If you need to cancel a paid registration:

• More than [14] days before the conference: eligible for a refund of the fee paid, minus a [10]% processing charge to cover payment gateway fees.
• Between [7] and [14] days before the conference: eligible for a [50]% refund of the fee paid.
• Less than [7] days before the conference: not eligible for a refund. You may instead nominate a substitute delegate from the same institution, subject to organizing team approval, at no extra charge.

For Delegation registrations, these windows apply to the delegation as a whole; the head of delegation should submit the cancellation request on behalf of the group.

4. Cancellation or Postponement by Organizers

If the organizing team cancels LIMUN entirely, all paid registrants are entitled to a full refund of their registration fee, or — at the registrant's choice — a credit toward the next edition of LIMUN. If the conference is postponed to a new date, your registration automatically carries over to the new date; a full refund is available on request if you are unable to attend the rescheduled date.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Registration fees are not refundable where:

• A delegate or delegation member is removed from the conference for a Code of Conduct violation (see our Terms & Conditions);
• A delegate simply does not attend without prior cancellation ("no-show"); or
• The cancellation window described in Section 3 has passed, except where the organizing team cancels or postpones the conference as described in Section 4.

6. How to Request a Refund

Email info@ylpuaf.com with the subject line "Refund Request," including the name used at registration, the institution, and the registration/payment reference if available. The head of delegation should submit requests on behalf of a Delegation registration.

7. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Neem, our payment gateway. Processing typically takes [7–14] business days from approval, though the exact timing of funds reaching your account also depends on Neem's and your bank's own processing times, which are outside our control.
